Katie Gillmeister

Meet Katie! Katie discovered Hot Vinyasa Yoga in 2003, drawn to its physical benefits—but what she found was so much more. Yoga taught her grounding, balance, and connection, lessons that continue to inspire her teaching today.


Now, nearly 25 years later—along with a husband, two kids, two dogs, and countless lessons learned—Katie is passionate about helping others experience yoga’s benefits. She completed her RYT 200-hour training with Hot Power Yoga in May 2024, is CPR-certified, and is working toward her SilverSneakers certification to expand access to movement for all.


She creates welcoming spaces where students feel supported and free to explore their practice. Her goal is to guide others in using movement and breath to reduce stress, build strength, and cultivate calm.


Katie teaches from the heart, believing that yoga is for every body and meets you exactly where you are.
